A Day Late
In typical Allegra fashion these days, I am a day late to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! I hope everyone had a great day. We had a wonderful family day: both Lovey and I had the whole day off, which is unheard of!
Today I am going to Beaver Creek (Vail) to play a concert and am looking forward to the bus ride for some much needed knitting/designing time. I have been really frustrated lately with my designing for the Year of the Cowl. Before I announced the project, I had a ton of great design ideas and yarn choices. I've put a few ideas and yarns together lately, and ick! Sometimes they look better in my mind than in real life! I had intended to have not one but two (yes, ambitious is my middle name) cowl patterns available for Valentine's Day, but between my design frustrations and a week of teething HELL, neither are ready. As I read on someone's blog, love is seasonless, so I do hope to get at least one cowl finished up before the end of the month.
I hope to be back blogging a little more often soon. I finally have a new camera and have a bunch of pictures I want to take of some recent acquisitions. I also have a couple "Friday Favorites" to share with you.
